Fenugreek Seeds come from a plant that is known for its use as a herb, vegetable and also spice. Methi seeds have a brownish yellow colour which are bitter in taste. They have been used in cooking from centuries together not only for cooking purposes but also for their medicinal properties. A close family member of pea, Fenugreek or Methi or Alholva, or Chandrika as called by different names worldwide, dates back to have originated in the Mediterranean region and Western Asia. Today, India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan are the largest producers of Fenugreek in the world.
